North Colorado Data Storage maintains a state of the art Firelock media vault that meets many rigorous standards. The NCDS Firelock vault exceeds the URL125 4 hour vault rating. To extend the life of stored media, our vault is environmentally controlled to maintain a 68 degree temperature and 30% relative humidity. Unlike a concrete or block vault which retain moisture when exposed to heat, the NCDS Firelock vault will protect your media from damage by excessive temperatures or humidity. In the event of fire, the internal vault contains a state of the art fire suppression system.

Our NCDS Firelock vault is housed inside a metal building, protected by a security system utilizing motion sensors and window and door open circuit sensors. The vault is secured by dual vault doors requiring both key and combination. Additionally our building contains 3 more security doors, to limit and screen the public from entering. With a dual powered generator and UPS, you can be assured that your critical records are SAFE. We also record video images from 4 different locations inside and outside of our building and VAULT360.

Our NCDS vault can store any type of digital or magnetic media, including:

TAPES, CARTRIDGES, CDs and DVDs, XRAYS, VCR TAPES, FILM and more......

NCDS will also store your organization's critical paper documents.

NCDS is located along the I-25 corridor. Close to your organization's site. This location ensures rapid response to your organization's needs. Our address is confidential, and known only to authorized customers. Additionally, we are very close to IBM's hot data site.

North Colorado Data Storage understands the importance of your critical business data. Transporting the backup media that contains your critical records, is another very important element in media storage. We provide flexible media pickup times so that you can determine the best time for NCDS to collect your backup media. A NCDS trained courier will arrive at your specified location in an unmarked vehicle. For Colorado's unpredictable weather, all of our transport vehicles are 4 wheel driven. NCDS personnel will only pickup and deliver to an authorized person from your organization. Signature paperwork will be provided on every visit.

In the event that you require immediate access to your media that we are currently storing, NCDS will provide your information within 2 hours. 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.

Additionally, NCDS can provide staffing to handle removing media directly from your tape/dvd drives and/or collection point without requiring your staff to personally handoff the media.
