Computer Media Tracking System : To provide a comprehensive storage solution, NCDS has a computerized tracking system. A bar code label will be affixed to your media, and then scanned into our computer system. Upon removing media, each piece will be scanned out of the computer system. This system can provide to you, anytime, a visual listing or a printed report of your inventory. Just sign on to our client access page on our website and you will see your company's current information.

Reminders : For organization reminders, NCDS provides a service to prompt your staff to create backups and/or remind them that a pickup is scheduled. This reminder can be given via a phone call, email, or fax. Additionally, if you don't have staffing available for tape rotations, NCDS can provide personnel to manage media exchange on tape drives or other backup equipment.

Pick-up and Delivery services via a shipping carrier: To facilitate your organization's remote location media storage needs, NCDS will coordinate, receive, and send the media via a mail delivery service. The media will then be stored in our vault in Colorado.

Digital Media destruction with certification : If your organization requires the destruction of out-dated backup media, NCDS will perform this function and provide a certificate for your records.

Digital Media conversion: If your organization needs to convert older format tapes or cartridges to other media types, NCDS can coordinate and complete the conversion process for you., NCDS will perform this function and provide a certificate for your records.

Erasure and degaussing : For many types of magnetic media, NCDS will perform degaussing procedures.

Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity planning : NCDS can assist your organization with creating a comprehensive disaster recovery plan. Our consulting services are reasonably priced, and your organization can benefit from our staff's extensive knowledge base.

"First Response" Disaster recovery kits : In the unfortunate event that your organization experiences a disaster, hardhats, flashlights, notebooks, checklists, etc., will be provided.
