The continuing fluctuation in fuel costs has impacted all companies, especially those involved in areas of transportation. Rather than continually changing our pricing of transportation service costs, NCDS uses an index-based surcharge that is adjusted monthly based on the previous months average fuel cost in the local area. The surcharge is not intended to absorb the dramatic fuel increases that we have sustained over the last several months, but to partially minimize the impact.
